New champions
Zenit St. Petersburg claimed their first Russian title in 23 years as they beat Saturn 1-0 on the final day of the 2007 season. Zenit finished two points ahead of Spartak Moscow and earned a place in the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League. Spartak beat city rivals Dinamo 2-1 to earn a place in the qualifying rounds of Europe's elite competition. Last season's champions CSKA Moscow will play in the UEFA Cup after winning third place. At the other end, Kuban Krasnodar and Rostov were relegated. Here are all winners and losers at the end of the 2007 Russian Premier League campaign:
