Juventus 8.10 : Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and winger Mauro Camoranesi face spells on the sidelines after suffering right thigh injuries in the 2-1 Serie A home loss against Palermo last weekend. Buffon has a tear to his right thigh and will be out of action for a month, while Camoranesi's problem is less serious and he will be sidelined for at least two weeks. The pair will miss Italy's World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria on October and Montenegro.
Bayern 7.10 : Coach Juergen Klinsmann has received a job guarantee until the end of the season despite Bayern Munich's worst start in three decades.
