Gian Piero Gasperini: Genoa Want To Do Well In Europe
Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini says no effort will be spared on the continent as he gets his squad ready for the Europa League clash with Valencia tomorrow night.
Both teams are favourites to progress from Group B, and things will become comfortable for the Grifoni with a win.
"Personally, I am keen on Europe. We worked for a year to get here, and I do not want to let it get away from us," the coach told the press.
"We will play to the best of our abilities, and if we win tomorrow, then things will look good for us."
Although the coach appears quietly confident, he has told his players not to underestimate a good los Che side.
"We have been studying Valencia's recent matches. They are a team with great value with international players that can generate good performances," concluded the Italian.
