PSV Striker Danny Koevermans Sustains Hamstring Injury

PSV coach Fred Rutten will possibly be without highly rated striker Danny Koevermans for the upcoming Europa League match against Romanian minnows Cluj.

According to a report on NOS, the prolific hitman has sustained a hamstring injury during Wednesday's training session and was forced to leave the pitch due to the knock.

It's not yet known how long Koevermans will be sidelined due to the hamstring injury. The 30-year-old will undergo further examination later on Wednesday.

The former AZ star has been in impressive form so far this term. Koevermans has scored six goals in eight league appearances and also found the net in the KNVB Beker match against De Graafschap.
