Roma\'s Cicinho Is Eager To Beat CSKA Sofia In The Europa League

Roma defender Cicinho is eager to play his part when the Giallorossi clash with CSKA Sofia in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Brazilian is glad to have put his injury woes behind him, and he cannot wait for the action to kick-off. The Giallorossi are desperate for a win as they seek an upturn in European fortunes.

"I am really happy and I can't wait to breathe the atmosphere of a real football match," Cicinho is quoted as saying by Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"I am ready and well physically. I can't wait to play. We have to put our foot down in Europe and return to winning ways."

Roma will be hoping for a win after losing in Matchday 1 to Swiss side Basel. The Lupi are currently bottom of their group.
